About Belize

Belize is actually closer to the US and more easily accessible than travelers might think. Located along the eastern coast of Central America on the Caribbean Sea, it is just a two-hour flight from southern US airports.

What To Do In Belize

It has so much to offer travelers. From unspoiled rainforests, emerald green vegetation-covered mountains water everywhere, it offers incredible outdoor recreation. There is an abundance of birds and wildlife. Nearly 600 bird species, almost every species of fish and coral found in the Caribbean, over 4,000 species offlowering plants, and the elusive Jaguar can be found in Belize.

There are literally hundreds of cays (islands, pronounced ‘keys’), and the largest barrier reef in the Western hemisphere. And then, there are those white-sand beaches!

Belize is home to twelve distinct Mayan ruins sites as well.
