For the golf enthusiast, there is the 45-hole Golden Horseshoe Golf Club.It is a designated Audubon sanctuary with stunning and serene surroundings and challenging play. After hitting the links, sit and relax poolside or grab a round of drinks and a bite to eat at one of the Clubhouse Grills.

Don’t golf? Why not ‘spa’! The Spa of Colonial Williamsburg offers century-inspired spa services that reflect the healing therapies that emerged throughout the ages, from orange scrubs to microdermabrasion. The Spa also offers a full treatment menu, from massages to facials to scrub, along with a complete salon.
Live After Five
For nighttime activities, the Historic Area is ‘Live After Five,’ as it plays host to a rich schedule of dining and evening activities. The night begins with dinner at an 18th-century tavern, Chowning’s family-friendly Beer Garden or the recently updated Huzzah! BBQ Grille, offering barbecue favorites with an international flair. Continue the night with cresset lighting, storytelling or musical performances that will entertain all until bedtime.

Culinary Programs
Colonial Williamsburg is also the perfect place for the gourmand or anyone who appreciates fine dining. The chefs at the Williamsburg Lodge and Williamsburg Inn staff various culinary programs over the weekend. From wine and cheese pairing classes, and cigar and spirits tasting, to farm-to-table programs and even tips on grilling, these special events are engaging and entertaining, while providing insights that guests can use in their cooking and entertaining when they return home.
